This was the first of three parks we planned on hiking. We arrived very late in the day due to an unplanned visit to the Antietam Battlefield. It was raining, so we just did a driving tour. We hiked in this park for only an hour, perhaps closer to two hours. We both had a creepy feeling the whole time, Welford reassured me it was because it was the first time we have had Abby with us in the woods. I am still not so sure why I was so creeped out. Perhaps just the overcast day combined with the steepness of the trails? Whatever the cause, it was still a beautiful hike.
Abby really loves hiking! Her first time out! She only slept about 75% of the trip.
Our new Kelty Kid Carrier! Welford liked the one we (and others) got Josey so much that we had to get one too!
Apparently, it's amazing.
Daddy had Abby, Mommy had water and other Abby necessities.
