God's Calling

How faithful God is!

After an extremely busy weekend at Second Baptist Church in Richmond, VA... Welford was unanimously voted in to be their Minister of Students!!!

We were so blessed by everyone we met from Friday - Sunday evening this past weekend. It just confirmed our belief that this is where God is calling us to be, and where He is calling Welford to minister.

We had an absolutely wonderful time throughout the scheduled events! I was so worried that I would not be able to sustain much energy throughout the extravaganza - but I am convinced that those around me from Second Baptist gave me the energy I needed by being so positive, uplifting, and supportive. And of course, without God's help I never would have had enough energy!

The youth at Second Baptist are amazing, and we are looking forward to getting to know them more. Welford can't wait to further develop relationships with them and will be visiting throughout our time remaining in Durham.
