High Five!

YEAH!

We worked on "High Fives" for the first time today. Abigail really enjoys them! She caught on right away after she saw Mommy & Daddy "high five" and then couldn't get enough of them. She's so funny when she's proud of herself!

Bow Beginnings

Today, Abby wore her second bow. Bow wearing is going pretty well, that is if she doesn't realize it's there. I love them because hopefully now, no one will think she's a little boy when she's wearing green, or blue, or some other boyish colors.

We also went to Meadow Farm this morning, where Abby's fingers were nibbled on by this curiously hungry sheep. Abby thought it was delightful, and laughed.

-bath time-

Abby having a fun time wearing her first bow:
Abby does not have much hair, so I have not been accessorizing it. This past Sunday, I kept the Creepers class at church and a little girl with less hair than Abby was sporting a bow! Needless to say, Jane inspired me to get Abby a few bows. And I'm so glad I did! How adorable!

Delicious Dinner Delights

Tonight, Welford is at a youth function, so I made Abby her favorite... spaghetti! Yum! But, keeping in mind that her iron was low at her last check-up, I added beef (we hardly ever eat beef) and spinach. This was in addition to the carrots I add every time as well. Yes, this all was very well received by the wee girl, and dinner was a success.

Not only are we trying to get more iron into Abby's diet, we are also having a difficult time to get her to drink fluids... and imagine once she's drinking from a cup this will no longer be an issue. So tonight, I was adventurous and took the lid off of Abby's sippy cup. Well, the first 5 drinks went really well! The rest... not so well....

The milk missed her open and waiting mouth, and completely went down the front of her and onto the floor. Abby was not so thrilled with this, and cried while Mommy found a towel to place under her chair to catch the dripping milk. Molly, enjoying said dripping milk. When she realized the cold milk wasn't really hurting her, she went back to dumping the remainder on her tray and eating the straw.

So when dinner was over, the milk soaked and spaghetti stained clothes came off.

And then I remembered that I bought strawberries for dessert! Yes!!! At the time, little did I know how much joy they would create!

Part 1 - Strawberry Shenanigans

Note that her diaper is just about completely full.... yup, full of the milk she previously dumped down herself.

Part 2
Yup, this girl is crazy about her strawberries!

VERY shortly after eating all of her dessert of delicious fresh cut strawberries, Abigail had a bath!

How could you not love this little girl?!!
