Three Months

Our sweet baby girl is now three months old! And boy has she grown. With Aunt Lila's help, all of Abby's clothes have been organized into outfits. Some 0-3s have been boxed up, and all 3-6s are now out to be used. Daily Abby is now wearing a complete outfit instead of onsies, if the events of the day allow. In dressing her, Abby certainly is a tall skinny baby with super long legs.

Although these new "big girl" outfits are super cute, they do make her look like a mini-person and not a baby girl. The photo below was the first time in pants. Welford said "Oh no, back to onsies you go! You're growing up too fast!" Today Welford changed her diaper and somehow 'forgot' to put her skirt back on... so she conveniently had on a onsie for most of the day today. Well until Katie, Bert & Josey came over for dinner. Mommy dressed her back properly for company. ;)

And indeed she is. Abby has pretty good head control and talks all of the time. Not only that, but she is starting to drool and discover more things with her mouth and hands. Tummy time now lasts for over ten minutes or more, a huge leap from a few minutes until crying protests began.

Josey, at 11 months, reminded us tonight that we need to cherish each and every day, and every developmental step. Ironically, Josey also took her first few unassisted steps tonight! (and just like Maymont... I'll have to take pictures next time!) Katie and Bert were so excited. We're certainly looking forward to those times still to come for us.

What a continuous joy and blessing Abigail Eloise is in our lives!
